ReplyDeleteI just read this today, some parts had me laughing too! A lot had me teary. Some parts I didn't agree with, but I can always understand and appreciate what she says about living for the church of living for God. It made me remember that when I dress modestly, am I doing it to hope that anyone from church will not look down on me, or am I doing it with a meek heart knowing that it pleases God.
ReplyDeleteI am also wondering have you read "Shattered Dreams" by Matilda Kauffman? I noticed it advertised in the end of the book and it seems like a real tear jerker.
