Ten Years Ago...

Ten years ago...

this man asked me to begin a journey with him. Before the year passed, we were engaged.

I'm still amazed that Ed chose me. He has brought more joy to my life then I ever imagined possible.

Happy Valentines Day, Ed

Photos were taken this past November by my friend Regina, at an old mill foundation. These photos make me feel like a newly wed again - until I remember the chaos of the photo shoot. While Regina and I shot photos  for each other, our children (nine of them between the two families) clambered around the stone walls. I was sure someone would slide into the muck and need rescued by our husbands in their dress shoes. Some things have changed in the last ten years!

  2. What a beautiful story. You guys are still so young and thin. After four children I didn't look so and even less so after number five, but am happy anyway. Thanks for sharing.

  14. Just to clarify - we have only been married 8 1/2 years. Ten years ago, we started dating. Maybe I should say, we OFFICIALLY started dating!

Thanks for all your well wishes!
