All my children have slept through the night by two months old. (Though my fourth child then reverted to waking up at least once a night until over a year old! But there were some other factors in her case.) <br /><br />I did learn a lot, especially with our first child, through the Babywise book. It taught me how to look for cues on whether my child was hungry, sleepy, or something else. I also try to use the sleep/eat/wake cycle and train my babies to sleep without props (such as nursing to sleep.) I try to get adequate feedings in during the day, even if it means waking up the baby from their nap or squeezing in another feeding in the evening.<br /><br />But I'm honestly not sure that my good sleepers are anything I have done "right."
