Jesus Wants Your Weakness

I was blessed today to read this article.

Suffering has shown me that my strength is not in me.
The raging seas have made me cling to the rock of my salvation. I can say in full conviction, “If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought ‘My foot slips’ your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up (Psalm 94:17–18).”

  1. You always seem to know what I need to hear. Thank you. Praying for you and your family and know what happens is God's plan. As in my life it is in God's hands and I trust him completely

  2. Thank you. Just thank you,Gina. And thank you, God, for this word.

  3. Thank you so much for the link. I printed it out to read it when I am alone. God bless you.

  4. This fits with just what I have been studying this past week. Our trust is in not in ourselves, but in Gods unfailing love. Our faith is in HIS ability, not our own.
Thanks so much for sharing! Prayers and hugs.

  5. Ohmygoodness! How I need to be reminded of this! I'm on crutches for the second time this year and I've got so much to do! The garden needs buttoning up, the animals need moving to the barn, the spent hens need harvesting, etc, etc, etc.
BUT nothing is forever. My body will heal. Everything will get done. Jesus is my rock. I am not alone.

  6. Hi Gina. We have a friend who has leukemia & is around Ed's age. I came across this article by a Christian man who had leukemia & brain cancer. He followed this "diet" & was cured of both cancers. I thought of sharing it with you & Ed in hopes & prayers that it will be a blessed healing for Ed also. God bless you both! I love to hear from you.
