I saw this post today and have been praying for your family as I go about my daily tasks. May you know the peace of God's comfort and be confident that you are safe in His hands. May you have divine strength to persevere through this big trial and the many small trials this creates. And may you cling to hope in Jesus and find Him trustworthy and true in your suffering. Praying that this tumor will be benign of course and also praying for strength as you take care of the children and your home. We had a bit of a scare on Friday as Mr. D was fixing our truck and it rolled off the blocking onto him. Praise God, no broken bones, just lots of bruising and taking care of our little farm alone is a job... and I don't have children, so I know you have had a lot of work to do. I can't imagine how you are feeling right now. I do know a little about watching loved ones suffer, my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor about a year ago and it has been hard to watch them go through this, but God has been faithful. Lord, bless the precious hearts and hands of those ordained to work with Ed. Let this time be a glory to you, and a blessing to all those involved. We thank You Lord, that You are the Great Physician and have plans for Ed, for good and not for evil, for life and life more abundantly! My husband had brain surgery, also. At first we were numb and in shock. The Lord sustained us with Psalm 91 and many praying friends and loved ones. Doctor said the tumor would recur within 3-4 years but God had a different plan and my DH has been tumor-free for over 18 years! It's a hard path to travel, but you can depend on Him to hold you up through it all! You'll be in my prayers as well.
