My son was born in State College, PA almost 40 years ago. As a preemie he had to be transferred to a hospital with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Hershey was one possibility, but it was full so he went to Geisinger in Danville instead. Unfortunately there was no McDonald's House facility there at the time so we traveled back and forth an hour and a half one way for three months. Those McDonald's House rooms are a real boon. One less thing to worry about when the concern over you child is at times overwhelming.

It's good to know that your Trent is home and doing well.vichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18428581552807859803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4916485057164205644.post-70786097568271897082017-09-20T10:48:19.246-04:002017-09-20T10:48:19.246-04:00Oh that looks absolutely painful. Our past several years have been a roller coaster of medical issues from a liver transplant, appendectomies, orthopedic injuries, etc, and then an accident Saturday evening when our son totaled his vehicle and walked away without a scratch. God has carried us so many times on eagles wings. Blessing to you in journey. Glendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15784756581580950877noreply@blogger.com
